Christina believes she has been incredibly blessed in her life to live in a country with such an abundance of resources! Yet, in this small world of ours, not far from our front door, are desperate circumstances with little access or resources.

In Liberia, the lack of resources and the negative stigma placed on these children, leave families feeling they have little or no hope. So many of these children risk being abandoned.

With that desire in her heart, she started training foster moms to take in abandoned children and those with special needs. It was after working with these children and building a trusted relationship with the government, that she was blessed with the His Safe Haven vision of building a village with care and outreach programs. Many are looking to make a difference in our world! If you are, please join us!

"My quiet and simple life was changed forever! I made the choice to be a voice for these children and their families!"

"I feel we all have the desire to help others when we see a need."

"truly humbled and blessed" to be such a small part of these beautiful little lives in Liberia, and

knows none of this would have been possible without our heavenly Father's guidance, prompting and vision!

ABOUT

-STEVIE-

OUR CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND

SPONSOR COORDINATOR

Stevie grew up in a family of eight as the second oldest child. She feels blessed to have been given a family who cherishes faith. Her personal life of faith has been a journey from the beliefs and guidance of her family's faith into an individual relationship with Jesus Christ. From a young age, she consistently has been directed to (and shaped by) serving others. It was during an international service trip in 2015 that Stevie realized God was calling her to abandon her current life plans and solely follow Him.

As a child, Stevie delighted in taking care of her siblings or helping her parents around the house. As she grew, she began to participate in service projects in her church, local community, and around the country. She considers herself fortunate to have entered college as an aspiring Pediatric Physical Therapist.

When asked why she became a full-time missionary, her answer was simple.

She feels by changing her mindset and surrendering her life in God's hands, she is now freer to experience the gifts and blessings He intricately designed for her to both have and share with others.

"God asked. I realized through prayer that I was allowing God to be a part of my plan, but I never considered God's plan or direction for my life."

"I began to be consistently drawn to serve those with disabilities."

"God has gifted me with the desire to serve others, and I am learning that His will, for which I was created, brings me the greatest joy."

When others tell Stevie she is strong, daring, and courageous, she shakes her head, and humbly admits she simply answered 'yes' to God, just as all others who have said 'yes' to God in their lives.

"My life, I pray, exists for God to shed His life-giving love on all who I serve."
